I think I will set it up to mine a bit of Vertcoin next time it's not rented out. Mined a bit of Digibyte (750 worth about £20-30 depending where you check) yesterday while 元+s were not rented out. I already had ASICS on MRR before the hack and only mining on NiceHash when not rented out and was looking to move GPU rigs as well, hack just sped up things. Good news I suppose but I am waiting to be actually paid before celebrating and like you said we are earning more elsewhere now so no reason to go back. On current prices though, 4x Vegas would cost the same as an S9 and return the same with the advantage of not having to deal with Bitmain or pay import duty. I've been reluctant to buy any beforehand since BTC is going up faster, but if BCH drops again it might be entirely prudent to buy some while its cheap. The S9s were indeed BCH only with a massive spike in price at the same time. It'd probably be good with Nvidias though - maybe fill one up with some 1070s. I don't think my i3 CPU is ever going to pay for itself doing 62H/s! Given my experience with the Vegas disliking being the primary GPU, its a shame it doesn't have an on-board GPU. At the moment its level with Monero for return (£13 a day) so I've stuck with ETN for now to build up a decent stash :) Looks like Sumo would be £16 a day so I'll keep an eye on that - might be worth doing ETN on one card and Sumo on the other. What do you mine on weak GPUs? Share your answers in the hodler crypto chat.I'd noticed ETN difficulty going up too - my rig is doing about 230-240 a day now instead of >250 a week ago. There are no decent websites on the Internet that feature the coin’s mining difficulty chart, so we have to take the data from WhatToMine on trust and check the network explorer once in a while. Look at the coin’s mining difficulty chart. The popularity of RavenCoin among miners is growing. The coin featured in almost all coin’s rankings for affordable solo mining. This is the most popular coin among users with less powerful equipment. The minimum hasn’t been reached yet, but it’s close. Over the last six months, mining difficulty in the network of the coin has been extremely low. There are four somewhat popular cryptocurrencies to take into consideration. The lower the difficulty, the better the performance of a single GPU during mining. WhatToMine can also sort results by mining difficulty. Ethereum Classic and Ethereum are also on the list. And it’s profitable.īitTube on CryptoNightSaber algorithm will bring the highest profit – $0.12. Though it’s easier to go to an exchange and buy coins. GARLICOIN HASH CALCULATOR FREEIf you have some spare money and swear by Vitalik Buterin, feel free to mine Ethereum. The graphics card consumes too much power so that mining can be profitable only with free electricity.Īt the current exchange rates, mining profit is negative. Sounds good, but in reality, it’s no use. Radeon R9 380 generates 20 Mh/s on Ethash and 16 h/s on Equihash. Ravencoin and Grin come second and third. Here the most profitable coin would be Aeternity with $0.14 of net profit. Next is Nvidia 1060 that generates 22.5 Mh/s on Ethash and 27 h/s on Equi. Apart from NiceHash, you should consider Aeternity and SUQA – they bring $0.10 and $0.09 respectively.īy the way, Ravencoin (RVN) mining pool on 2Miners expected in April. One GPU brings $0.15 per day at the cost of $0.046 per kWh. So we have to search for cryptocurrencies with a smaller DAG file, like MOAC, CLO, etc. GARLICOIN HASH CALCULATOR DOWNLOADLet us remind you that 2GB/3GB GPUs are not enough anymore to download the DAG file of these coins. Whatever the numbers are, low-end Nvidia graphics cards can’t mine Ethereum or Ethereum Classic. What to Mine with Nvidia 1050TiĪccording to the calculator, 1050Ti generates 13.9 Mh/s on Ethash and 17 h/s on Equihash. And we also marked all available algorithms. As always, we will use WhatToMine calculator for this. We will analyze four models – Nvidia 1050Ti, Nvidia 1060, Radeon R9 380 and Radeon 470.
